Seward County has adopted Zoning Regulations and Subdivision Regulations. From time to time, these regulations are amended.
The process for amending the regulations requires that the Planning Commission hold a public hearing on the proposed amendment and that they make a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners with regard to the proposal. Notice of the public hearing is required to be published in the local newspaper at least 20 days prior to the public hearing.
Information on proposed amendments can be obtained from the Planning & Zoning Department. Staff will also make an effort to post the information on this page.
