[ARCHIVED] Public Hearing to allow Fire Station in Kismet

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, April 8, 2013 the Seward County/City of Kismet Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the Seward County Administration Building, 515 N. Washington, Suite 200, Commission Chambers, Liberal, Kansas, at 5:45 P.M., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, to consider the following application:

CASE NO. CU2013-1

Conditional Use application filed by Seward County Rural Fire Department to allow construction of a fire station and associated site improvements on property generally located in the 500 block of Locust Street, Kismet, Seward County, Kansas located in the SE/4 of Section 4-T33S-R31W. A full legal description of the property is available for review in the office of the Zoning Administrator during normal business hours.

As provided in the Seward County Zoning Regulations, the above application will be discussed and considered by the Seward County/City of Kismet Planning Commission, and all persons interested in said matter will be heard at this time concerning their views and wishes; and all matters concerning the request and presented at the hearing will be considered by the Commission. At this time, the Planning Commission may recommend to the Kismet City Council: approval of the request, denial of the request or they may continue this matter to a later date without additional notice.
