TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN AND TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 12, 2011 the Seward County/City of Kismet Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the Seward County Administration Building, 515 N. Washington, Suite 200, Commission Chambers, Liberal, Kansas, at 5:45 P.M., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, to consider the following application:

CASE NO. CU2011-1

Conditional Use to allow a 200 foot self-supporting tower for voice and data communications filed by United Wireless Communications, Inc. for property generally located at Seward County Landfill, 1703 E. 8th Street, Liberal, Seward County, Kansas located in the SE/4 of Section 27-T34S-R33W. A full legal description of the property is available for review in the office of the Zoning Administrator during normal business hours.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN AND TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 12, 2011 the Seward County/City of Kismet Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the Seward County Administration Building, 515 N. Washington, Suite 200, Commission Chambers, Liberal, Kansas, at 5:45 P.M., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, to consider the following application:

CASE NO. CU2011-2

Conditional Use request to allow a 4000 square foot steel shop building to be used commercially on property located at 19962 Road R which is zoned Rural Residential. Business activities will include welding, cutting and grinding. This property is located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 32 South, Range 32 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Seward County, Kansas. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN AND TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 12, 2011 the Seward County/City of Kismet Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the Seward County Administration Building, 515 N. Washington, Suite 200, Commission Chambers, Liberal, Kansas, at 5:45 P.M., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, to consider the following application:

CASE NO. CU2011-3

Conditional Use to allow a 197 foot guyed meteorological tower to monitor wind resources filed by Williwaw Wind Development, LLC on behalf of Disgen Development Services II, LLC for property owned by the Lynn and Luanne Schmitt Trust generally located in the SE/4 of Section 26-T33S-R34W Seward County, Kansas. A full legal description of the property is available for review in the office of the Zoning Administrator during normal business hours.

As provided in the Seward County Zoning Regulations, the above applications will be discussed and considered by the Seward County/City of Kismet Planning Commission, and all persons interested in said matter will be heard at this time concerning their views and wishes; and all matters concerning the request and presented at the hearing will be considered by the Commission. At this time, the Planning Commission may recommend to the Board of County Commissions: approval of the request, denial of the request or they may continue this matter to a later date without additional notice.
