All Heavy Trucks and Trailers have until the last day of February to renew tags!! Otherwise they are unable to renew until after January 15th or Renew on-line.

Per Seward County Resolution 2020-23, A Resolution Concerning Access to County Facilities during Public Health Emergency, doors to all County facilities are locked and access will be limited to the general public.  

The Treasurer's Office encourages everyone to renew your tags online at https://www.kswebtags.org/ or to use the drop box located in the Administration Office, 515 N Washington.

To make an appointment for new vehicle tags call the Seward County Treasurer's Office at (620) 626-3215.


The Treasurer’s office hours are 8 am - 5 pm open during the lunch hour.

The Vehicle Tag side has a number system in place, so make sure to pull a number and wait for your number to be called.

NEW !!!!   "Joey’s Law"   A placard issued to assist the applicant with identification to law enforcement that the applicant might be in need of assistance with cognition during interaction with law enforcement while driving or riding in a vehicle.
