Grade 30 / Step A
$20.156 hour / $1,612.48 bi-weekly
Investigation and preparation of detailed juvenile and adult Presentence Investigation reports. Probation supervision of juvenile and adult offenders, assisting clients in understanding and meeting requirements placed on them, and referring clients to appropriate community resources as deemed necessary. Professional work with community resource providers, law enforcement, attorneys, and judges. Must be able to provide effective testimony to the Court.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in corrections, counseling, criminology, psychology, social work, sociology or a closely related field. Must be able to pass a criminal history background check. Must possess strong verbal and written knowledge of the English language.
